Dental Bridges
What is a Bridge?
A bridge can be explained as two crowns suspending an artificial tooth into place. If you have a missing tooth, a dental bridge may be a great option for you.
How It Works
When you have a missing tooth, we can crown the two teeth on either side of this gap. Then, we make a structure that joins these two newly capped teeth together, with a space in between each crown to put the artificial tooth in.
The Bridge Procedure
This procedure is the same as the crown procedure, but takes a bit longer since we’re fitting you with three crowns. We’ll take moldings, fabricate the bridge, and match the shade of the bridge to the rest of your teeth. Most of this work is done externally, so you have plenty of time to relax comfortably.
We usually use porcelain material to make bridges, which leaves your teeth feeling strong and uniform, and you’ll feel confident using your bridge to its full function.
CAD/CAM Technology
We’re proud to offer patients the latest and greatest technology with our in-house CAD/CAM system, which allows us to create accurate intra-oral scans and custom dental restorations in the practice. This minimises the need for multiple visits, offering near-instantaneous results. Using computer-aided design and manufacturing, we’re able to produce incredible dental restorations that are durable, long-lasting, and entirely natural-looking-not to mention, they’ll function perfectly and allow you to beam with confidence.
